Iv'e decided to make some time this year to take part in the Polestar Design Contest, if not to enter the competition but to have a fun promt to do something creative. I have taken the general flow and lines inspired from the Precept/5, and put my usual scifi spin on them to create a Polestar Spinner (aka Blade Runner). Still a long way to go in order to refine the shape and iron out the creases, create an interior and rig it up for animation, but I hope to find the time over August.
Here are my first attempts from week one. You can read more about the content here.
Ive been working on a project to replicate the NASA Powerloader by Jason Hazelroth over the summer break. This is quite a complicated model so hopefully I will learn a few things along the way.
